HOW TO OUTWORK YOUR LIFE EXPECTANCY


   A typical car lasts about seven years; now imagine if you were given a car and were told that the car would have to last you for your entire life, around eighty years.  With that in mind, you would probably take outstanding care of the vehicle, checking the fluids, changing the oil, using quality gas, changing the filters regularly, not stressing out the engine too much, and treating it with respect.  Otherwise, you'd be walking for a very long time. Think of your body in the same way. You only get one, and you want it to be as healthy, productive, and beautiful as long as possible. Treat your body with respect as it is going to be the only one that you'll have in this lifetime.  Take time to rest, eat healthy, exercise, learn, manage stress, and develop your spirituality. This will outwork your life expectancy.

    Although it seems like common sense, the better condition you are in, the longer you'll be around, and the longer you'll be producing.  I have brilliant friends who have terrible eating habits, drink, smoke, or do drugs. With age, those behaviors cause a steady decline in their health, productivity, and success.  There is a relationship between success and longevity. So make decisions based on longevity and health versus strictly towards building wealth. For example, I took a job that paid twenty percent less, but it cut my drive time down by two hours a day.  The amount of stress I didn't have to endure sitting in traffic for two hours a day was well worth the decision. The extra time allowed me to write blogs and start a new business. Never put wealth before your health!
